Everyone knows Liverpool are the best fans in the world.

Talking about fans numbers, I was amazed that our average home attendance in greatest season 85/86 was 21,000. I went almost every game that season and can’t remember it being that bad

We might create ambiance, but "we're West Ham and we don't sing" says so in the advert.

Last time I was up at Newcastle for a Tuesday night game was in 78, there were 300 of us, and we had a proper team then won 1-3.

OK, sorry then gents, we've got the best support in the whole wide world.

Grays is missing the entire point that the website is trying to make with some of the picks, but easily done.

How easy is it to follow a team around the country who have won about 40 trophies in 20 years compared to one who hasnt won anything since most of our current travelling support was born?

Being a good supporter is about following a load of shit religiously and not being a glory hunter, which is why they have us at number 1.

Manuel,

"No, he's being factual according to him.
And him being negative is my opinion.
And you're giving your opinion."

It's a fact that we took, roughly, 1000 last time we were up at Newcastle midweek.

It's also a fact that around the same time we took 400 to Sunderland in the League Cup.

Since the move the numbers going away have been solid though, I can only assume this is because people need to get there fix from being in "northern hellholes" as Sven puts it, rather than Stratty.

No, he's being factual according to him.

Don’t have the away/home split but up to the end of last season

Everton have played 1,038 games in 27 PL seasons and conceded 1,311 goals
We have played 882 games in 23 seasons and conceded 1,269.

Man U’s 27 seasons have seen them concede 929

Eerie, I'm guessing Everton simply because they've not been relegated from the PL

''But hey, well done for being negative on a positive thread''

Why is it always 'negative' and/or 'positive' on here?? he's giving an opinion you fucking child.

Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
I'm going to guess that since the inception of the Premier League, we've either conceded the most away goals by any team, or have lost more away game than any other team.

Or both.

I suppose it's easy when you've spent most of the the last 25 years spanking everyone, and when your fans are scattered all over the country.

Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
Given how pitiful our away form has been FOREVER I am always in awe of those that put in the hard yards in Northern hell-holes again and again.

Supporting Man U, Liverpool or Man City away obviously can’t compare.
Liverpool & Man City because they win every week & Man U because they probably live down the road from the away stadium.

Grays,

The last time we played them midweek away was Jan 5 2011. Things have changed a bit since then. But hey, well done for being negative on a positive thread...

Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
“The Irons fans are one of a kind and consistently follow their team regardless of the situation. A Tuesday-night trip to Newcastle? They would fill out the 3,000 allocation with ease”

I doubt we would tbf, last time we played them midweek we didn’t shift half of that!

Grays 8:23 Fri Aug 23
Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
Man United have the best away support in this country, fact.

Liverpool at #7?

Their away fans = death of others and their own! What the muck is this survey in the middle? Unbelievable, Jeff.

Ah well, we top at least one League. COYFI!
